Removing the Tenor Bell -
Work started on the removal of the Bells on Monday 8th December.
The wheels and clappers
were removed and the bells readied for removal.
On the Tuesday the window tracery was removed and the Tenor Bell,
the largest one,
was lowered to the ground.
As darkness fell it was carefully manoeuvred and transferred
to the waiting van.
Removing the Treble Bells -
On the Wednesday morning the two Treble bells were removed in a similar manner.
