Flowers of the Dales Festival Walk

Saturday 15th May 2010 -
A free guided walk to look at the flowers and grasses found in Long Preston.
The anticipated finish time is approximately 4pm.
A stroll through the partially wooded Dales church yard to look at the spring wildflowers
and signs of other wildlife. A walk along the beck side paths and up walled lanes
to the moorland edge to see the contrast between limestone and gritstone habitats.
3 miles in total.
After the walk, afternoon tea will be available in the village
hall at a cost of £3.
